Dr. Adeel Afzal received his MD from Dow Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan. For his post-graduate medical training, he chose University of North Dakota Internal Medicine Residency Program in Fargo, North Dakota. He is Board-certified by American Board of Internal Medicine. He started his Internal Medicine Practice in Conroe, Texas in 2012 to provide cutting edge primary care services with a personal touch to residents of Conroe and surrounding communities.
Dr. Afzal is married to an Infectious Diseases Physician, Dr. Sarah Miller and has two wonderful children. He resides with his family in rural Montgomery county. In his spare time, he enjoys long-distance running, reading up on US history and tending to his vegetable garden.
Portia Tirimboyi grew up in Harare, Zimbabwe. She moved to the US with her family in 2001. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Miami-Dade College in 2005 and completed her Masters of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from University of Texas Arlington in December 2017. She lives in Spring, Texas with her husband and three boys. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, going for nature walks with her husband and boys and traveling.
Portia is interested in working in collaboration with her patients and their families to improve their health, wellness habits and help them to reach their health goals.
